Programs: EQUALITY IN EQUITYSUSTAINABLE HOMEOWNERSHIP: Chhaya helps community members through the confusing process of buying a home. Before buying a home or visiting a mortgage broker, we inform people of the major steps of assessing what is affordable, understanding the loan application process and how to protect their assets.BUDGETING AND MANAGING CREDIT: Chhaya works with members of thecommunity to strategize on how to effectively manage budgets, improve credit and save for the future.FORECLOSURE PREVENTION: Chhaya assists homeowners who are having difficulties with their mortgage payments by informing them of their options and helping negotiate affordable and sustainable payments. In addition, we offer information about the foreclosure process and other foreclosure prevention options such as refinancing and short-sales.
