Programs: 1) Grantmaking program: CCFWG seeks to foster change by providing grants to Chester County nonprofit organizations and programs that address one or more of the following funding priorities: core needs, economic opportunity, health and well being, and challenging gender inequality. Since 1996 the organization has awarded over $3. 2 million in over 400 grants to more than 75 organizations addressing the needs of women and girls across Chester County. 2) Education program: Since 2005, CCFWG has provided the nationally-recognized Girls Advisory Board program offered to high school girls across the county to educate them on leadership, philanthropy, community service, civic engagement, and entrepreneurship. In 2019, two inaugural programs were launched: the Girls in Action Summit and GirlGov Chester County program. Other educational and research offerings include: gender-focused community education programs; the Blueprint research report, #ChesCoKnows sexual harassment survey, summit and other events related to the survey findings; and numerous communications related to our mission via print, email, and social media.
