Mission: The mission of cheetah development is to move smallholder farmers in the developing world from the poverty of subsistence farming to commercial farming and better livelihoods.
Programs: Cheetah development, inc. Accomplishes its mission through three inter-dependent strategies, (1) building for-profit social enterprises in the agriculture value chain that buy from smallholders or provide them with a product or service that improves their productivity and profitability, (2) making the smallholder investable by providing them with the capital, knowledge, and relationships to enter the modern agriculture value chain, and (3) blended capital, using both philanthropy and impact investing to advance the mission.
