Mission: The mission of chblt subsidiary co. , previously known as sharon regional physician services, is to provide the highest quality, advanced healthcare services to all communities within our region.
Programs: The investment into providing expanded ambulatory cardiology services to the residents of the shenango valley represents the largest program service expense within sharon regional physician services. Residents of the shenango valley can now have general, interventional and cardiac mri/ct specialist services available at sharon regional without traveling to bigger metropolitan hospitals. With the additional physicians, we were able to provide care to 11,702 patients during fiscal year 2014. See schedule o for additional information.
providing advanced orthopedic surgical care to the patients of sharon regional health system is our third largest program service expense for 2014. We currently employ 5 orthopedic surgeons, along with a pa who saw 9,299 visits during the year and performed 707 surgeries. Sharon regional health system is the only hospital in the area able to offer spine surgery and minimally invasive hip surgery close to home, without having to travel to cleveland or pittsburgh.
providing primary care services to the patients of sharon regional health system is our second largest program service expense for 2014. Managing and promoting healthy lifestyles and preventative care is important for maintaining a patient's long term health. Sharon regional physician services currently employs 8 primary care/internal medicine specialists who had 17,155 patient visits during fiscal year 2014.
