Causes: Microfinance, Small Business Development
Mission: To help south carolina grow into a center for immersive and interactive technologies. We support applications in the arts, architecture, disaster relief, education, music, science, and medicine. The goal is to create high paying local jobs to keep our highly trained and talented students in the state after graduation to meet the demand for technical jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities.
Programs: During 2017, charleston digital media initiative began work on an augmented and virtual reality application of the briggs v elliott court case which challenged school segregation.
