Mission: Chapel of Peace, founded in 1999 as a Church began free computer training out of concern for unskilled members lacking motivation to join the workforce. Young adults with high school diplomas—some had never married, had no driver’s license and welfare dependent. 4 graduated in Springfield, 37 Jamaicans graduated in December 2000 and over 40 will begin training March 19, 2001. A 3-classroom facility in the Inner City of Nashville is being remodeled where over 90 men and women wait anxiously to undertake the training. Our goal is to establish a Digital Networking Center downtown Nashville in June 2002.
