I just wanted to tell you about the work Change For The Children, Inc does for their communities. We are a Fiscally Sponsored organization, sponsored by Help is Here, Inc., a 501c3 Non-Profit Public Charity. We operate solely off of donations and sponsorships to provide clothing to children and grants to single parents working to provide a better future for their family. We also step in to help in the recovery of natural disasters. In this tough economy, there's always a need somewhere. Mission: Change for the Children’s sole mission is to help single parents provide a better future for their children. We are that "gap filler" when times get tough in between paychecks. We step in to assist in the recoveries of natural disasters and sudden occurrences that are beyond anyone’s control. Change for the Children’s mission is just that- change the present to provide a better future for our nation’s children.
Results: Since we opened in Early June 2010, we have helped 4 children
Target demographics: Single parent families in poverty through out the southern US
Geographic areas served: Primarily Southern USA
Programs: Covering America is our service that provides new and used clothing to needy children of single parent families. This service is made possible by donations from people all across America. Whether the clothes are hand-me-downs or fresh from a store, we distribute them evenly to children of all ages.
