Mission: The Championship Association of Mechanics, Inc. (CAM) was established in 1989 as non-profit organization designed to serve the needs of Indy car crewmembers and to publicize the work of these "hidden heroes". Our basic philosophy or purpose is to make the lives of these hard-working men and women better!
Through programs such as the Job/Resume Registry (matches available personnel with team position openings), the CAMAGRAM Newsletter (highlights information pertinent to the lives and careers of members.), the Benevolent Fund (offers emergency assistance to members and others in the national racing community), and CAM Awards (which honor the hidden heroes of Indy car racing by recognizing the dedication and ingenuity of team members in a variety of positions) we are able to help provide a better lifestyle for our members and the racing community!
