Causes: Employment Preparation & Procurement, Job Training, Sheltered Employment, Vocational Rehabilitation
Mission: To provide habilitation, rehabilitation, and employment services to adults with disabilities and other employment barriers.
Programs: Transitional services - provide services to approximately 125 individuals to prepare them vocationally, socially, and emotionally for work in the community. Types of work experiences include; mailing services, light assembly and packaging, digital and microfilm conversion, dish room operations, and custodial services. Population served includes individuals with developmental, psychiatric, and physical disabilities.
supported employment services assisted approximately 170 individuals with disabilities in obtaining and retaining employment in an integrated community job. Services include job development, job coaching, job placement, and ongoing support. Individuals obtained jobs in a variety of vocations, such as: retail services, arts and sciences, customer service, and office administration. Populations served included individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities.
