Fmi was created to nurture, elevate and preserve garment production in nyc, ultimately connecting emerging designers and strengthening existing designer relationships with local fashion manufacturing.
fashion targets breast cancer (ftbc)through campaigns and other industry initiatives the ftbc program marshalls the goodwill and services of every element of the fashion industry to raise public awareness and funds for the breast cancer cause, in the us and internationally.

Through innovative partnerships with brands, retailers, and cfda designers, the foundation is able to leverage fashion and effectively generate awareness and funds for these charitable causes. Cfda continues to support raising funds for hiv/aids. Beneficiaries over the years have included dozens of worthy organizations. In addition, as natural disasters began to sadly occur more frequently, the cfda took initiative in galvanizing the industry post-disaster.
