Central Westchester Humane Society Inc

This organization is absolutely corrupt. They are run by Pets Alive Inc. and this particular facility is closed due to the board incompetence and misuse of funds. Money donated to the Westchester Shelter has been funneled to the middletown NY location. And now they are only keeping this EIN active to continue to steal money from the Westchester community despite providing it with no services. The Westchester Attorney General's office is currently looking into the potential wrong doings of Pets Alive Inc. DO NOT DONATE

Strong volunteer base offering senior care for legacy dogs/cats who have spent nearly their entire lives there. Struggling to stay alive and functioning, the staff is equally loyal to the cause. My experience with Pets Alive West has been nothing less than heartbreaking. This organization has a moral responsibility to ensure that dangerous dogs are not fostered or put up for adoption in unsecure environments. However, in the interest of expedition, they allowed an innocent domestic animal to be blinded for life. previously donated, but after many phone calls and emails the charity refused to participate in my corporate matching gift application program from my employer. Very disappointing

This is one of the best Animal Shelter's around. Everything they make in donations goes directly to the animals care.
