Mission: The center for rural policy and development provides high quality, objective and non-partisan research to examine and advance policy and decision-making, rural advocacy and civic engagement for greater minnesota's development.
Programs: A statewide resource for research and analysis for rural development. Recent publications include: state of rural minnesota 2017; a quiet crisis: the child care shortage in greater minnesota; child care's quiet crisis: an update; local-option sales tax: a long-term solution to county transportation funding needs? ; wastewater challenges in small minnesota communities; and, mental health services in greater minnesota.
