Mission: We have a goal of helping nashville's refugees become self-sufficient through education, advocacy and referral. Our mission is to provide consistent community services to all refugees and other communities represented in the neighborhood. We wish to create an environment conducive to adapt to life in nashville and in the broader american community.
Programs: Refugee and immigrant students empowered (rise) provides after school tutoring to refugee and immigrant students for two hours each day, four days a week during the school year.
employment services program: funded by the office of refugee resettlement, this program uses employment specialists to assist refugee families secure gainful employment. Services include assistance with employment plans, resumes and cover letters, paper and on-line applications, interview preparation, vocational program referrals, and post-hire paperwork.
refugee agricultural partnership program: funded by the office of refugee resettlement, this program provides a community garden and agricultural training and incubator farm to assist refugees with agrarian backgrounds to diversify the local food system.
