Mission: The Center for Hearing, Speech & Language is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization founded in 1918 and dedicated to improving people''s lives by providing quality hearing, vision, speech and language services. We emphasize services to low income, uninsured, underinsured and/or at-risk families, particularly targeting elderly adults, pre-school, school-age and adolescent children.
Programs: KidScreen is a hearing, vision, speech and language screening service offered to pre-school, school-age and adolescent children in Denver and Colorado Springs with particular emphasis on low income, uninsured kids. The program makes services available in 140 educational sites or in the CHSL clinical offices on Hale Parkway in Denver. KidScreen was established in 1997 and is the flagship language and literacy program of CHSL.
