Causes: Education, Primary & Elementary Schools
Mission: The center for early education, a socio-economically and culturally diverse independent school for children, toddlers through grade six, strives to graduate students who are joyful, resilient life-long learners. The center embraces a philosophy (continued on schedule o) of education that combines a nurturing, inclusive learning environment with an increasingly challenging academic program that addresses the developmental needs of each child.
Programs: The center provides educational programs for approximately 540 students in grades toddler through sixth (ages 2-12). The center's academic, arts, and physical education programs instill a love of learning in students at an early age. Within the team teaching classroom environment, children explore literature, writing, math, and social studies. Specialists teach additional subjects, including science, art, music, physical education, and library science. Our state of the art innovation center enables children to have the intellectual curiosity and creativity to ask questions and the skills needed to answer those questions. Our graduates are confident, engaged and successful at the schools to which they matriculate.
the center provides auxiliary programs to complement our academic program and meet the needs of working families. During the academic school year, these include after school classes and after school day care. Our summer programs include an early childhood summer camp, a summer institute for elementary students and day care for those students needing to remain on campus later. We also offer nursery care for children of employees through the caring place, which is provided as a cost-sharing benefit.
