Mission: Mediation services. (see note)
Programs: The center for dialogue served 955 adults. Performed 230 mediations in which 98% were successfully resolved, 5 conciliations, 22 training and/or facilitations. Served 626 youths, trained 94 peer mediators, served 55 in
school success groups (a program designed to reduce truancy), and performed 50 youth mediations. Our clients reflect diversity of the community and all residents of transylvania county may receive our services. There is
no charge for services provided to youth and inability to pay does not bar adults from having mediation services provided. Initiated our life skills for conflict resolution workshops using trained volunteers for course instructors. (continued, see note)
