Nonprofit Overview
Mission: CCFSA's mission is to help immigrant families eliminate barriers to self-sufficiency through preventive programs, access to affordable legal services and bridge knowledge gaps to ensure successful transitioning to life in the U.S.
Results: Approaching the growing need for affordable immigration support services through mobile outreach has been extremely successful. Offering services directly in the home, school, church or community agency reduces the amount of follow-up appointments and does not interrupt the flow of income coming into the household. Mobile immigration allows greater flexibility and we find that our clients are more comfortable discussing their immigration concerns right in the home or community. For CCFSA providing mobile services has proven to be a valuable service and allows us to stay connected to the community and our target population.
