We had been caring for multiple strays in the neighborhood, along with help from other neighbors. We adopted two outside cats to be inside cats and one other neighbor adopted one, but we had three more to care for. One had been pregnant twice and lost the litters pretty quickly, which was traumatic for all of us. We had known about Cat Trap Fever from when we lived in Florida and were thrilled when we saw that a branch was being started here. We immediately reached out and received help immediately. The process was simple and I am so happy to have participated. The cats were trapped, spayed and vaccinated successfully. Everything was explained well. We volunteered to use our garage for holding the trapped cats before and after spaying. The Cat Trap Fever people did all the work, feeding the cats, cleaning them, and releasing them. The strays are looking much healthier and happier since they went through the process. It's a joy not to worry about the kittens or the health of such a small mama cat going through so much grief. We were really blessed to be part of this process and highly recommend working with this organization!

Cat Trap Fever assisted us with getting two stray kittens and their momma needed vaccinations as well as spay and neuter surgeries. They are also trying to find homes for the two kittens so that they can have a loving life in a home instead of fighting for their lives living outside with other wild animals. I highly recommend this non profit organization to help you with stray cats living in your area.

I contacted Cat Trap Fever about a beautiful little calico cat that was hanging around our neighborhood. We were concerned about this cat's health and also the fact that it would probably produce a litter of kittens if not spayed. It was obvious that she was feral, but had adapted to handouts from neighbors. Jennifer brought us a trap and we were able to get her the same day since she was accustomed to us feeding her. Jennifer verified that she was feral and was also in heat. By having this cat spayed we were able to prevent another litter of feral kittens.
I am very thankful for this organization and all that they do for the feral cat population in our area.

We were adopted by a mother cat and her 6 kittens at 4 weeks in June
We contacted 2-3 agencies here in CROSSVILLE to have them spade and neutered but the list was so long and also expensive
We were then contacted on line by CTF in Oct. by Jennifer who said this organization could help us.
Jennifer and her volunteer, Donna ,were very helpful in getting cages and explained how they would trap them to take them to Knoxville to the facility
It’s a great organization! I hope people realize there is a great need to help these little kittens
Problem we have now is to get them adopted

I recently started volunteering and fostering for this wonderful new rescue/TNVR group. It has been a wonderful experience! Everyone works together so well in helping these at risk cats. It’s a blessing to be part of it!
