Mission: The coalition is dedicated to mobilizing the community and the community's human resources in fostering positive values and healthy lifestyles in order to influence and empower our youth and adults to live drug free, make responsible choices, and to become productive citizens.
Programs: In its dedication to mobilize the community and the community's human resources to influence and empower the youth and adults to live a drug free life make responsible choices, and become productive citizens, the coalition did several actvities including the following:*continued the "communities that care" program that educates the community about the local risk/protective factor data, and issues relating to the data to expand awareness of the coalition's efforts. *developed a community calendar that is distributed to the community thorugh local businesses, and the schools. *assisted in the set-up of a community garden.
