Mission: Child advocates of ne oklahoma is a court appointed special advocate program in good standing with the national casa association and oklahoma casa assocation. We provide qualified, trained community volunteers who provide child advocacy services to abused and neglected children.
Programs: Court appointed special advocate services for children who are abused and neglected by their parents or guardians. Our casa volunteers 1 complete an investigation of the childs circumstances and interview significant adjults in the childs life 2 facilitate any services the child may need while living in foster care 3 monitor the partens progression court ordered treatement plans, and monitor the childs safety, permanent needs, and best interest through in person visits withthe child at least every 30 days and 4 advocate in the court for the best interest of the child, filing a written report to the court regarding the childs circumstances and progress and the parents circumstances and progress.
