Mission: The ccdc is a non-profit organization committed to encouraging the development and growth of a vibrant, diverse and healthy carnegie community through enhancing the historic business district, marketing its unique location, fostering collaboration and ownership among the community.
Programs: Business attraction and community development - to attract new business to the carnegie borough, assist existing businesses to access programs and resources to enhance their current business, assist businesses in expansion, maintain a list of available commerical properties and coordinate real estate development initiatives.
facade program - develop and administer a matching grant program for commerical buildings in carnegie, develop and market grant proposals, review the proposals with a committee, award the grants to recipients, monitor progress of recipients' projects, manage grant closeout phase.
