Mission: Carly’s Way was founded in 2019 after Carly Beatty's life was tragically cut short by a car-on-pedestrian hit and run intoxicated driver in College Station, Texas. She was attending Texas A&M University to become a veterinarian. Carly’s Way is an effort to fulfill Carly’s vision for helping animals and assist in preventing impaired driving. Carly deeply believed every animal, from every background should have the chance at a happy and healthy life. To help promote her wishes, Carly’s Way was formed. Through our Animal in Need Program we support area animal shelters and rescue groups with food, supplies, medication and some veterinary costs until the rescued animals can be placed into permanent adoptive homes. We also assist with finding permanent homes for these animals. Through our Pet in Need Program we provide financial assistance for families struggling financially to fund their pet’s veterinary expense. By providing financial assistance in times of need, Carly’s Way seeks to allow veterinary medical care for animal owners who are unable to afford the cost of their pet’s urgent care. By providing this assistance, we hope to reduce the number of unnecessary euthanasia and surrenders to shelters.
