Mission: It is the mission of caring unlimited to work with the community to end domestic violence in york county. This includes providing support and safe haven to women, their children and men whose lives are affected by domestic abuse in a manner that honors their essential worth, nurtures their inherent strengths and respects their right of self-determination.
Programs: Transitional housing program - purpose: to provide supportive housing to families who are reorganizing their lives after leaving an abusive relationship.
emergency shelter program - purpose: to provide temporary safe haven and support services for individuals in york county who need to flee their homes to become safe from an abusive partner, or are homeless or at the risk of becoming homeless due to domestic violence. Each year approximately 100 families who are unsafe in their own homes find safe haven and supportive services at caring unlimited's emergency shelter.
legal services program - purpose: to provide lay court advocacy and legal assistance for york county victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.
