On behalf of everyone at TEKONS EDUCATION, a non-profit organization based in Odisha, India, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous support this year. Your partnership has brought in a lot of hope, enabling us to reach new milestones in our mission to empower underserved communities through education.
As you know, currently we run Digital literacy and eLearning programs for the school children specially for the underprivileged category. TEKONS EDUCATION also runs Environment Protection related educational camps with plantation drives. We support students financially along with counselling, career support, conducting motivational camps for academic excellence for both the visually impaired & other PwD and students belonging to general category from lower income groups with specific focus on girls.
With your invaluable funding this year, we have:
1. Empowered Students Digitally: Your support of our Digital Literacy Program in Ashram school in Bhubaneswar, has illuminated the world of technology for underprivileged children. It has opened doors to knowledge, skills, and opportunities that were once out of reach.
2. Transformed Lives through Financial Aid: Your assistance in our Financial Aid Program has ensured that dreams of education are no longer bound by financial constraints for many of our students, especially those from marginalized backgrounds.

I've been volunteering with the Caring Hands Foundation since it started, primarily their Sandwich Seva program for unhoused population shelters. In addition, I have also taken part in their sleeping bag program during holidays. Occasionally, I have been a donor to their school for blind young adults in India. What drew me to their cause was the ability to provide healthy food for the unhoused population and their compassion and commitment to continue to improve the lives of unhoused.
I have been volunteering with this non profit since I was a six years old. I have many fond memories of packing brown lunch bags with friends and family to donate to the shelter. I am grateful to have this formative experience and that I get to continue helping by encouraging others to volunteer as well.
I have been a supporter of Caring Hands for the past five years. They are truly dedicated to their mission, and the impact they make in the community is impressive. Caring Hands is not only transparent but also very punctual in providing regular updates about their current and upcoming projects. They also share their success stories and show how my contribution has touched someone's life. As a donor, I feel more connected to the people I am helping.
One of the projects that stands out to me the most is how they worked tirelessly to open a free COVID relief wing with oxygen concentrators in India. Despite the challenges they faced in securing the concentrators, they were able to establish a fully functional section.
Another project that is close to my heart, which I support as often as I can, is their devotion to providing lunch bags, breakfast staples, and personal hygiene kits to homeless shelters, helping to make the residents' lives a little brighter.
I am blessed to be a part of Caring Hands and I will continue to support them. I will also recommend them to anyone who would like to support an organization with a meaningful purpose.
I am deeply grateful to Caring Hands for their willingness to support the Mount Hermon Hinsing Basan Vocational School Reconstruction Project in Pariong village, Meghalaya. Although, due to some unavoidable circumstances, the project did not materialize yet, I truly appreciate their sincerity and commitment to social causes. Caring Hands has shown a unique openness to work with independent social workers like myself—especially those of us working in the remotest of areas. What makes Caring Hands stand out is their approach to philanthropy. Rather than simply providing funds and moving on, they take the time to engage meaningfully with small, grassroots initiatives and work closely with social workers and local partners who are deeply embedded in the community. Their dedication to identifying and nurturing trustworthy partners ensures that their support reaches entities that are both effective and committed to making a difference.
For independent social workers, finding partners like Caring Hands, who value transparency and the power of local impact, is rare. Their continued investment of time and resources demonstrates that they genuinely care about the projects they support. It was an honour to get the opportunity of collaborating with an organisation so committed to impactful change at the grassroots level, and I am hopeful about the positive difference they will continue to make in communities across the globe.
Excellent non profit organization helping thousands of underprivileged children and women all over the world. We have no administrative costs as all the board members and volunteers work hard and donate their time to support the organization.
Kolotan : Shaping Chaos Into Cosmos , is a community school in Barasat, West Bengal, India .The school provides unique educational space following the ideas of Rabindranath Tagore, to children from rural families facing various economic and social challenges.
Caring Hands has promised to provide the funds for the school building with all facilities for 390+ children .The school will be built with local indigenous materials and engage local workers.
Kolotan is greatly indebted to all members of Caring Hands for extending their full support to realize our dream . With its extremely limited resources Kolotan Trust could pursue this project only due to the hand holding by Caring Hands.

I have benefitted by working with Caring Hands since 2009 in maintaining a non-profit school in Kenya. The St. James Community Orphanage School provides education for 100 children, grades 1-4, who otherwise would not get lunch or opportunities for schooling. Caring Hands has provided financial support at critical times during the history of this small primary school. It is located on a small island on Lake Victoria that was decimated by HIV/AIDS and the children have been in great need. Thanks to Caring Hands it has remained open!
I came to know about Caring Hands from our beloved friend late Dr. Sakti das. He has done so much for humanity all over the world. With a generous financial help from Caring Hand to Anubhuti Sewa Sansthan Indore (which is a centre for disabled children) we could finish the building. Now all children are shifted to new premises.
