Mission: The organization's exempt purpose is to help newly arrived caribbean immigrant youth make successful transitions into american life and succeed through higher education.
Programs: The organization's accomplishments are, as follows:1. Travel club - offered our youth wider travel experiences and cultural exposure. 2. New partnerships - build 2 partnerships with a new dorchester community center to offer services to haitian immigrant youth and serve caribbean youth overseas. 3. Youth enrollment - reached 116 students directly and through partnerships. 4. Youth employment - offered 5 youth meaningful fulltime summer employment and work readiness training opportunities. 5. College/higher education enrollment - enrolled 4 youth in higher education programs (college or vocational training). 6. Strategic growth plan - completed year four of our strategic growth plan to ensure that the organization develops at a thoughtful and sustainable pace.
