Mission: Care net pregnancy center of central new york, inc. Is an evangelical christian ministry that promotes the sanctity of human life by providing objective information and compassionate support to women, men and families who are faced with an unplanned or unwanted pregnancy. Care net's mission is an outreach ministry which:1) shares the love of jesus christ. 2) promotes the value of human life. 3) educates toward sexual risk avoidance and healthy relationships. 4) helps individuals suffering from pregnancy loss. It empowers individuals to make informed decisions by providing information on fetal development, abortion risks, adoption and parenting. Care net does not refer for abortions but will provide referrals for prenatal care, housing, legal aid, food, etc. Care net provides free baby and maternity clothing and items. It conducts parenting classes and childbirth education classes for individuals who choose to carry their children. Care net assists those that choose to parent or make an adop
Programs: The organization provides education, options education, referrals and assistance programs for women and men facing an unexpected or unplanned pregnancy. In 2017, 792 clients were provided with free pregnancy tests and options education. In 2017 792 men or support people received information along with the client to help make an informed choice about their pregnancy outcome. In 2017, 417 ultrasounds were provided to confirm a viable pregnancy and referrals were made for prenatal care and wic assistance. In 2017, 331 client visits provided help with material assistance including baby and maternity clothing and items. In 2017, there were 883 parenting class appointments. In 2017, there were 2615 earn while you learn appointments. In 2017, there were 87 pregnancy loss support appointments. In 2017, there were 39 students in 23 schools for my future, my choice classes.
