Mission: CARDADDY.org is a non-profit children’s charity that connects children battling cancer with the owners of classic and exotic cars to provide a child with the Ride-of-a-Lifetime in the car of their dreams. Each CARDADDY.org event begins with an interview of the child and his or her family. We strive to gain a greater understanding of each child’s challenge, how he or she has faced this challenge, and how each family has been affected by their unique situation. We ask each child to describe their dream ride as they envision it. We then go out and make this vision a reality.
Each event also includes an interview with the owner of the car we have chosen to best meet the dream of each child. The proud owners of these unique and treasured cars have fascinating stories of how they acquired their cars, the work they have done to them and the history of each car. The generosity and compassion of these car owners shines through in each CARDADDY.org event. We then make the connection, scheduling a day for the child’s dream ride. The location and route for each ride are approved by the parents, children and car owners. We photograph and film each ride, donating the pictures and video to the families and car owners, as a treasured memory of a once-in-a-lifetime dream come true.

Cardaddy not only gave my daughter a magical ride in a Rolls Royce, they also filled her heart with so much joy and memories to last a life time. Hannah was having a tough year after having her 4th open heart surgery. Dave and Mary were so gracious. Hannah truly felt so special because of all of their efforts. They surprised her an enchanted high tea after her ride. Made her feel like her worries were no longer. Gave her a chance to feel like a princess. Cardaddy contacted me shortly after my son finished his treatment for osteosarcoma. Our son was 6 at the time and the ordeal had been so grueling that it had taken a lot out of him- out of all of us, to be perfectly honest. Cardaddy wanted to bring a smile to our son's face, but they succeeded in making my entire family smile. The experience from beginning to end was absolutely what we needed- fun and exciting! Cardaddy went out of their way to provide a once in a lifetime ride in the car of our son's choosing. It has been nearly two years now since our experience with Cardaddy and our son still talks about the time when he got to ride in a Ferrari. He and my husband often point out cars that remind them both of the experience (my husband was just as thrilled as our son, since he is an avid car lover himself). The icing on the cake is that it was all filmed and we can watch and relive those moments with Cardaddy as often as we desire. Cardaddy made a huge impact on our lives at a time when we all really needed a lift. It was a significant moment in time for our son, and our entire family, that we will all cherish forever.
