Causes: International, Promotion of International Understanding
Mission: Caras of the americas was formed to promete international collaboration
Programs: Vietnam estudia: we continued to cooridnate afterschool programs for underprivileged children to provide improved provisions of the education services. We served over 35 children and their families monday through friday. We offer tutoring, arts, and crafts, sports, mentoring, etc. Among our accomplishments is that all our students passed to the fallowing level, all students optained a c or higher on all classes
raices urbana: we continued work with our nursery growing over 1,000 plantulates and planting over 500 mangrove trees with students and adolescents in the neighborhood forest.
service learning exchange: we continue offering students significant experiences of serrvices learning and exchange by coordinating their alternative spring break programs as we have done since the founding of the organization. We coordinate their homestays, meals and service projects
