Programs: Various programs such as archiving, halloween event, tours, explorations & summer performance series. Caponi art park also received donated services valued at approximately $40,000 & donated facilites valued at approximately $9,600.
creative adventures: provides tours, hands-on learning & performances to organizations serving low-income & at-risk youth free of charge, including transportation. In 2017, the 900 head start students from dakota, scott & carver counties participated in the program.
art park experience: in 2017, 18,000 people visited caponi art park, individually or with an organized group. Through the blending of art & nature they experienced the art park as a single, unified work of art. Visitors explore miles of walking paths in the sculptured landscape of rock walls & shaped earth, finding conventional sculptures along the way. This welcoming, natural environment makes art more approachable to people of all ages & backgrounds.
