Mission: Recovery, rehoming and placement for unadoptable dogs.
Programs: During the year, the organization acheived "leader of the pack" an award given by the spca of norther nevada for oustanding achievement in the field of animal care and rehabilitation. Additionally, the organziation was able to add preliminary walking trails around our property. The organization assisted in saving the lives and finding new, appropriate and loving homes for 6 dogs whom had significant major medical/surgical needs. The organization also placed other significant at-risk dogs within our community. During 2014, we launched a capital campaign set to raise sufficient funds to potentially purchase our property in the washoe valley area and complete remaining renovations needed to provide adequate space and training tools to the dogs within our care. During the year, we added several new dog condos, began construction of our indoor enrichment yard, signed a lease option agreement with our landlord to begin the process of purchasing the property
