Mission: Camp Swift supports the social and emotional development of youth and enhances the social awareness and leadership skills of teens by fostering mutually beneficial mentor relationships in a fun and safe environment.
Results: We have provided over 10,000 life-changing experiences since our inception in 1980. Each summer, we provide more than 300 economically disadvantaged youth with a life-changing experience of a week at overnight camp where they get to experience the beauty of nature, the excitement of activities like canoeing and rock wall climbing, and the value of a positive mentor relationship. Each year, we provide over 100 teens with the leadership development training and hands-on counseling skills that provide them with tools to be effective members of society.
