Mission: To provide an educational and recreational camping program for iowa's youth between the ages of 6 and 18 who have diabetes that promotes diabetes management skills to gain independence and a positive attitude for controlling diabetes.
Programs: The purpose for which the corporation is organized is to operate a summer camp for children who have diabetes to educate the children on how to live, eat, exercise, and manage other matters related to diabetes. Camp hertko hollow also provides weekend retreats throughout the year to assist and educate families affected by diabetes.
