Mission: Camp helaman is a non-profit organization that provides outdoor recreational facilities for community groups that promote youth personal development and achievement through service and team-building activities.
Programs: Provided a local venue for community youth of all backgrounds to engage in wholesome recreational activities that fostered mutual respect for others and a commitment to serve. Examples of activities are as follows: work & service: service projects (after campouts, saturday mornings, and eagle scout projects), cutting grass, trimming grass and plants, fertilizing, spreading insecticide, cleaning. Maintaining equipment, trails, campsites, fruit trees, wild life habitats, and other amenities. Recreational activities: camping, gaga ball, field games (soccer, ultimate frisbee, capture the flag, lacrosse, flag football, man hunt), orienteering, geocaching, hiking, mountain biking, scouting events, young women events, local church events, easter parties, bbqs, prom dinners.
