Mission: Camp cadet of bedford county (camp cadet) was incorporated on april 12, 1991 under the laws of the commonwealth of pennsylvania for the purpose of operating a summer camp for the children and teenagers of bedford county. It is designed specifically for the purpose of sponsoring, organizing and carrying out programs that provide educational, recreational and related experiences for the youth of bedford county, pennsylvania.
Programs: Youth camp - camp cadet of bedford county provides a week long camp for youth ages 12-15. The camp is designed to carry out programs that provide educational, recreational and related experiences for the youth of bedford county. In addition, the camp fosters personal and physical self- development, good moral character, self-discipline, civic and social responsbility and provides an understanding of relationships between youth and law enforcement agencies.
scholarship program - this program provides scholarship funds to students who wish to pursue post-secondary education in a field of study related to law enforcement.
