Mission: Mission The mission of Calvary House is to provide support to formerly deployed military men and women as they re-enter the community, as well as the families of deployed and returning soldiers by providing services that are consistently available, accessible, and responsive to the needs of individual service members, families, and groups seeking assistance. We will work within the community to contribute, facilitate and promote awareness of the needs of our men and women of the armed services to the enrichment of all; and to provide high-quality, compassionate and comprehensive services to as many military personnel and their families as possible. Goals and Objectives Calvary House is a 501(c)(3) organization established exclusively for religious and charitable purposes to provide assistance to military personnel and their families. As such, Calvary House will: 1)Provide support to formerly deployed military men and women as they re-enter the community, as well as the families of deployed and returning soldiers; 2)Provide spiritual and charitable support; 3)Provide supplementary access to medical and psychological treatment for PTSD and TBI; 4)Assist in career preparation, job search and educational opportunities; 5)Provide support to incarcerated veterans as they re-enter the community, as well as veterans battling addictions; 6)Coordinate recreational activities for spouses and children of deployed soldiers; and 7)Raise funds and awareness to counter the mounting number of war veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, shell shock, combat fatigue, military sexual trauma, and other emotional conditions.
