Mission: Cal-WIN 2000 was originally designed to assist individuals going from welfare to work. Due to the demand for employment assistance and services, the target population was widened to include low- income, low-wage and low-skilled workers and their families. Cal-WIN 2000 serves people from a variety of backgrounds and socio-economic levels improving their employment skills and assisting them with lifetime self-sufficiency.
Programs: Cal-WIN 2000 is an employment training center assisting individuals with their job search, completing applications, resume writing, interviewing skills, soft skills, maintaining employment and improving wage earning capacity. Classes are conducted daily on a variety of topics including improving self-esteem and self-worth, time and money management, conflict resolution and effective communication.
