Mission: The california transition alliance supports youth-serving professionals who assist youth and families as they transition from secondary education to adult life. This mission is accomplished by strengthening partnerships with youth-serving agencies, convening, training and providing access to resources.
Programs: Published the watch newsletter quarterly. Hosted regional transition conference. Provided continuing education units at ta supported transition staff development. Updated the ta transition toolkit (access to resources that support transition. Distributed toolkits to members. Shared info about resources and tools that empower youth-serving adults. Facilitated transition webinars in partnership with calif dept of education and the state community of practice.
