This organization files lawsuits against small property owners for activities which may have occurred over fifty years ago, trying to force the landowners to spend millions of dollars for cleanup of messes created by others. My wife and I are anguished beyond belief by the bullying tactics of this organization and instead of quietly living out our retirements, we are forced to spend retirement income on attorneys to fight back against these bullies. They purport to go after large corporations and municipalities when, in fact, they're happy to bleed anyone they can.
Over the years I have favored environmental organizations and done my best to support them, but with friends like these, who needs enemies? In my case, the last mining done on my property occurred in 1935. Why are they now trying to hold me liable?
