We are a food pantry and social service center (Salvation Army) in Susanville - Lassen County - CA. CalFoods Logistics is a huge part of the operation of our food pantry. Because of them, we have an expanded site to better serve our county and help with the ever-demanding food insecurities seen in this area. We have also been the recipients of much-needed refrigerators and freezers. And, just when food resources seem to be running low, the pre-packed California Food boxes appear and we are so grateful and thankful for them!

The Susanville Salvation Army is in awe of the support and assistance CalFood Logistics has provided us this past year! We cannot express in words the gratitude when a truck pulled up to deliver a professional sized refrigerator and freezer! Our food pantry is able to serve more of our community because of them!
First impressions are everything, and it was love at first sight when Meals on Wheels Yolo County (MOW Yolo) first met the CalFoods Logistics team! CalFoods immediately was inspired by the opportunity to support our service expansion to nourish more seniors in Yolo County, and to do so more nutritiously. They have generously shared their resources – product, space, and funds – to elevate our prowess and our capacity. Additionally, they have partnered to make possible collaborative bulk purchases between MOW Yolo and other local nonprofits endeavoring in the food security space. Thanks to CalFoods Logistics, we are able to stretch our own precious resources in order to accomplish more and healthier outcomes for Yolo County’s aging adults. The CalFoods staff is so genuine and warm, and we look forward to a long and meaningful relationship for many years to come.

Project Lost Sheep, non profit for children, is deeply grateful for the practical
support which enabled us to serve 150 children and youth volunteers in
Redwood City, California.
Day camp happens yearly for the past 16 years, but this one was of concern
as we did not have funds for the explosive cost of foods and materials.
When I happened to meet Carry Warner last spring, she was immediately
interested in a possible connection. We found the process of working with
Cal Food Logistics clear and responsive. We provided our information and
they approved funding.
The people really do make all the difference. We are grateful to be a part
with them in granting these children a week they will always remember
and be back for more next year!
We operate The North State Food Bank, which has an 8,000 square-mile service area, mostly rural, covering five-Counties. CalFoods Logistics plays a key role in making these activities happen. A quick call or email when things aren't going as planned is usually all it takes for them to help us figure out the barrier. Very responsive and helpful. But the best things about CalFoods Logistics are the people. Just last week, Parshy spent considerable time and effort helping us identify a source for equipment when all-else had failed. Great people doing great work.
Food Bank of Northern Nevada works directly with CalFoods Logistics to facilitate a government program, and we could not ask for a better partnership. The whole team from top to bottom are flexible, responsive, and for the mission of both organizations. They have bolstered the amount of food we are able to provide clients, and that in the end is most important.
When we at Trinity Center think of CalFoods Logistics, we don't think of an organization. We think of a team of compassionate, generous, dedicated people who are passionate about their mission to alleviate hunger and support others who are in the same fight to end inequitable access to essential needs.
When we reached out for a supply of water for our winter shelter participants, their cheerful, positive response was immediate. They quenched our need by delivering a pallet of bottled water to our shelter within days.
Partners like this whose support comes in many forms, are appreciated and valued. They help us deliver tangible care and hope to our marginalized community members.
