Causes: Job Training, Vocational Rehabilitation
Mission: Claimvets provides veterans with a pathway to enter the claims profession by providing access to adjuster and office skills training programs, adjuster licenses, career mentoring, job placement services and relocation assistance. Continuing educatioinal opportuities will also be provided.
Programs: Claimvets held one large annual dinner and awards fundraiser in new york city, which accounts for the majority of our revenue. In 2014 claimvets supplemented the fundraising dinner with a book signing event, which was well received. The majority of the annual expenses relate to hosting the dinner and secondary, general administrative costs.
