Mission: To preserve and improve burt lake and its watershed for quality use for future generations and preserve natural & scenic areas
Programs: Environmental & land use - continued development and implementation of plans to preserve and restore the shoreline of burt lake. Addressed land uses to assure campatability with preservation of the watershed
water use and safety - planted weevils to help eradication of eurasion millfoil from the lake. Supported the county sheriff marine patrol for lake safety.
newsletter - prepared and mailed newsletters to members and prospective members to educate them regarding the association's goals as well as provide updates on legislative and critical matters affecting burt lake.
