Mission: Marshal and provide resources for lifelong learning to brookfield, ct residents of all ages.
Programs: Matched funds to renovate the brookfield historical society blacksmith shop. The blacksmith shop will house year round education programs for the children of brookfield, as well as the community at large.
funded presentation of "rachel's challenge" at public middle school. The program's mission is to create a safe learning environment, inspired by rachel scott, a victim of the columbine high school shooting in 1999.
funded the purchase of interactive response clickers to support smart board technology in k-1 public elementary school. The implementation of this technology will increase student engagement and aid in the collection, evaluation and assessment of student data.
