Mission: Our mission is to offer compassionate and quality home health care services throughout the community. Brockton vna staff work closely with physicians and hospitals to deliver high-quality services that meet the unique needs of every patient. Staff have training in advanced technological procedures including chemotherapy, infusion therapy, laboratory testing, pain management, medication reconciliation, telehealth, chronic care management and falls prevention. Coaching patients to be able to care for themselves is a critical component of care. The goal is to return patients to their normal routine of daily living as quickly as possible. For over a century, the brockton vna has provided southeastern massachusetts and the greater brockton area with the highest standards of home health care services.
Programs: The brockton visiting nurse association offers:*in-home nursing: adult and maternal child health. Specialties include cardiac, diabetes (ada recognized), intravenous therapy, oncology, respiratory/pulmonary and a wound care team. *adult and pediatric rehabilitation therapy: occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech language pathology. *health care team services: dietician and nutritional counseling, home health aides, interpreter services and medical social workers.
