We've been going to and donating to the folks at this location since it was the MSPCA. I love what the "new" organization has done! From bake sales to Agility for Fun to Pictures with Santa to their newest fundraiser, Dogtoberfest, they have lots of ways to help keep the shelter in the red. While I wish there was no need for their services, I'm glad the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts (APCSM) is here.

The Animal Protection Center took over the MSPCA shelter in Brockton, MA when the MSPCA ran into financial difficulties. The APCSM seeks to provide forever homes for all kinds of animals not just dogs and cats. It is a clean, pleasant, well run facility that promotes visits by community members. The staff is friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with the way the staff works to socialize animals to make them more adoptable. They have numerous opportunities for volunteers.
