Mission: The Broadview Volunteer Fire Department was organized in 1995 to provide fire fighting, fire prevention and related emergency services to the Broadview Community of Franklin County Tennessee. The department is staffed by non-paid volunteer firefighters. A firehall was constructed in 1996 and the department began operations. In 2005 we achieved a Public Protection Classification of 6-9 from ISO. Our near-term goal is to maintain this level of protection and improve firefighter safety and operations. The fire fighters have mutual aid agreements with surrounding fire departments such as Winchester Belvidere and Lexie Cross Roads and respond to their calls. Our public education activities involve visits and demonstrations at the nearby Broadview Elementary School and the Tims Ford State Park.
