Mission: The john tyler community college foundation acquires vital resources which advance the college's mission to provide superior, affordable, and accessible education. The foundation seeks the time, talent, and financial support of alumni, individuals, businesses, civic groups, and private foundations in order to build relationships which ultimately help the college elevate the community's quality of life.
Programs: Support for education at john tyler community college: jtcc foundation provided more than $1million in support to the college and students in the fiscal year. In addition to scholarships listed below, the foundation support included academic programs, student support services, facilities improvement, faculty and the nursing education center. Funds were raised through support from corporate, foundation and individual donors, in-kind gifts and earnings on endowed scholarships.
