Mission: The mission of Bridge of Hope Lancaster & Chester Counties is to assist single mothers, with dependent children, experiencing homelessness to secure permanent housing, stability and access to resources in their community through relationships with professional staff and mentoring friendships from local congregations.
Results: Since 1988 we have journeyed with over 1000 single moms and children experiencing homelessness. We have an 80% average success rate and we continue to walk with our graduates for as long as they wish to remain engaged. Many of our graduates have become mentors for other single moms. That's a perfect way for them to give back.

Programs: Bridge of Hope Lancaster and Chester Counties empowers homeless and at-risk single mothers achieve permanent housing and financial self-sufficiency through employment, and attain stability and enhanced self-esteem through ongoing mentoring friendships. These mentoring friendships occur within mentoring groups of 6 to 10 people within local congregations. Mentoring groups are trained and supported by Bridge of Hope Lancaster and Chester Counties staff.
