Mission: The bridge is a volunteer service organization focused on the refugee population in columbus, starting with the west side. Were partnering with those among us who most need help - the refugee and the homeless - in ways that foster healing, dignity, community and peace.
Programs: To provide financial support to other non profit organizations that promote a smiliar purpose of helping those in need.
run a weekly soup kitchen for the homeless in the area which presently serves 100-150 people. There is also a thrift store available to those in need. Overall there were approximatly 300 volunteers and over 200 people served through the food pantry and thrift store.
provided classes for adults in english, citizenship, conversation and ged prep program. We serve 155 adult students either in the classroom setting or though one-on-one tutoring. There were 75 adult volunteers.
