The organization collected 3,224 donated wedding dresses, valuing $996,298, from individual brides, bridal stores, designers and manufacturers along with $28,565 worth of special occasion gowns and bridal accessories. In addition to its original bridal store location in portland, or, brides for a cause opened a second bridal store location in tacoma, washington in january 2017 to continue to fulfill its mission to provide financial assistance for women-focused charities by collecting and reselling donated wedding gowns and accessories - and is slated to open a seattle, washington location in march 2018.
