I am committed to the Brian Bill foundation. My experience with the 31 mile ruck in DC was extraordinary. I have supported these heroes for many years. the work that Mr. and Mrs. Bill do along with the volunteers is second to none. I have not only been given and opportunity to salute these great people who gave their life for my freedom I also met many great non for profits who also dedicate there lives to our American veterans. Of special note Lavonne from Paws for Warriors and Terry our platoon leader during the ruck. Both have blossomed into wonderful friendships. I have your six!! This is mainly a reply to the negative review written by kikiexn. I have seen and been irritated this review for a long time.
First, with only a small amount of research, one can find that Brian Bill was indeed killed in Afghanistan on Aug. 6, 2011 when his helicopter was shot down by the Taliban. Brian was killed along with 16 other members of SEAL Team Six in the shoot-down of the helicopter, call sign "Extortion 17".
Secondly, If the foundation is doing good work in restoring our Heroes to normal civilian life, and in the process saving lives by preventing suicides, who cares what the justification for it's creation was. I firmly believe that this foundation is among the best at what they do.

Scott Bill has put together an excellent program for our Special Operations' community. There is such a need for this program to help our military men make the transition from being pivital in the military to feeling and being pivital at home and in our communities. The therapy for PTSD, mTBI, chronic pain and injuries that they have as a result of protecting the freedom of all of us is greatly helped by attending the Warrior Healing Retreats and follow up counseling sessions. This is a program that has such a need that is not offered by the VA, and a foundation that creates a new family for our Special Operations' community.

I attended a recent retreat and was very impressed with this organization. The foundation has a remarkable program, focused on holistic healing, and they're continually refining it based on what gets the best results with lasting benefit. Staff and volunteers are passionate about helping veterans and clearly dedicated to their work, always acting with patience and compassion. The foundation dealt with various challenges smoothly and provided an incredibly therapeutic experience. Scott Bill's generosity and vision for the foundation is genuinely moving. I would recommend the program to fellow veterans without hesitation, and urge anyone wanting to make a difference for combat veterans to consider supporting this wonderful foundation.

I have been donating to this charity monthly for a few years now and I have nothing but the utmost respect for Scott Bill (Brian's dad) and the work he is doing to honor his son.
Our men and women in uniform as well as their families lay it all on the line with their sacrifice. The mission of this organization and the level of confidence I have in it is unsurpassed and I highly recommend them.

Silent professionals are sometimes too silent about the good community work they do. So I am glad to get the word out on the Brian Bill Foundation and why they're where I volunteer. Three years ago, my own compass was blown with my fiance's suicide up at Ft. Bragg. It was other unconventional warriors and their families who helped me find direction and meaning again during that tailspin. The community that rallied around me of those who had been where I was, and knew what I was going through, saved my life. The Brian Bill Foundation is saving lives just like that. They devote themselves completely to building restorative community for those finding their way through unthinkable loss. And they are doing it to a standard of excellence I have rarely seen. When you visit or volunteer, you'll see it clearly too. That is why they have my time and my support, and I hope yours as well.

I am fortunate and blessed to have met Scott Bill, founder of this great organization honoring his son. I am deeply moved and inspired by Scott for his vision and goals all with one sole purpose: Help our veterans. Just today I sat down for lunch with Scott and my wife. Not only is he inspiring me and helping others along the way but he is inspiring my wife to help veterans in the way only she can. The Brian Bill Foundation is a courageous foundation that I have great respect for and encourage as many people and other organizations to get on board. Together, we can accomplish great things and this foundation is no exception. As a military veteran, I am proud to play a small part in the Brian Bill Foundation.

I was honored and proud to attend a flag presentation ceremony for 2 gold star families that was arranged by Scott Bill and the Brian Bill Foundation. The ceremony was at the Rays stadium and we were then treated to VIP treatment to enjoy the baseball game. This meant so much to these gold star families, to be supported, their family member honored and to be remembered. Those in attendance at the game were also able to take the time to honor our military and their sacrifice. Well done and I am proud to volunteer for such a worthy foundation that give back to our community and military.

The Brian Bill Foundation held a Gold Star Fathers Weekend Earlier in 2016 in the Everglades, Florida. The weekend enabled a group of Fathers to get together that had experienced the loss of their son or daughter in the War on Terror. There were councilors onsite that helped with the healing process that we were all in different stages of in both group settings and in individual settings. There were outdoor group activities that helped to forge friendships and to help us bond and to tell stories of our lost ones as well as stories about what we had gone through. Becoming friends with others that had the same experiences as well meeting people that really wanted to help us in times of need made this a remarkable experience.
In appreication.

I have never seen a group of people more committed to serving others than those associated with the Brian Bill Foundation. Then again I have never worked with active NSW operators. I imagine the source of commitment and dedication the Brian Bill Foundation demonstrates every day comes from those they serve; NSW Operators and their families that have made the ultimate sacrifice to serve and protect our country.

I have never felt more pride or humility than when I am working for the Brian Bill Foundation.
